Obituary of Patricia Bond
BOND - Patricia Ann passed peacefully on Saturday, February 1, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital. Patricia (Trish, Pat, Gramma) was born January 10, 1945 in Dumbarton, Scotland. She is survived by her 3 adoring children, Kevin (Karen), Stephen (Jennifer) and Margaret (Ryan) and her cherished grandchildren, Shawna (Alex), Emily, Gabriella, Sadie, Sophie and her constant and affectionate furry companion Stella. She will also be deeply missed by a number of brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews and her sister in law Eileen (Derek Endersby). Pat had many friends who will be sad by her passing especially her best buddy, Connie. Pat was adored by all who knew her and loved people especially the “wee ones.” To many kids outside her family she was known as “Nanny Pat” or “Gramma Bond” and she cherished the titles that she so deservedly earned. She volunteered her time at STEGH and Christmas Care always wanting to help those in need. She will be sitting around a campfire in heaven with her husband and best friend Dave, who will no doubt have a chair ready for her. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service for family will be held. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). Expressions of sympathy and donations to Christmas Care St. Thomas would be appreciated. Personal condolences to the family can be sent to www.sjfh.ca
