Obituary of William Arthur Pierson

PIERSON- William “Bill” Arthur of St. Thomas, passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 in his 85th year. Bill is survived by his beloved wife Marilyn (nee Dundas); by his loving daughters Debbie (Ron) Lale and Lorraine (Bob) Dilley; loving son Jack (Pauline) Pierson; by his grandchildren Jenn Titchner, Jeff Lale, Andrew Fryer, Michelle (Cole) Fryer, Corey (Grace) Dilley, and Kristen (Brandon) Dilley; by his great grandchildren, Hailey and Ty Titchner, Autumn and Allie Lale, Jake Dilley, and Cole Piroska; by his sister-in-law Leonne, and by his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his daughter Donna Fryer; and by his siblings Jack Pierson and Larry Pierson. Bill was born in London, Ontario to the late John and Vera Pierson. He worked as a Newspaper Pressman at the St. Thomas Times Journal until retirement. A private family gathering was held prior to cremation and a graveside service will be held at Elmdale Memorial Park Cemetery. A public service to celebrate Bill’s life will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) after COVID-19 restrictions have been withdrawn.
