Obituary of Emma Stoepker

STOEPKER- Emma Stoepker, 80, formerly of Simcoe, ON died peacefully on May 16th, 2017 at Valleyview Home, St. Thomas, ON. Emma was born on May 3rd, 1937 in Friesland, the Netherlands. She is predeceased by her late husband of 54 years, Clarence. Emma will be missed by her daughter, Gerdy (Noel) MacKay of St. Thomas, ON and sons Ralph of Simcoe, ON, Randy (Annette) of Oakville, ON, Peter (Dianne) of St. Williams, ON. Grandchildren Tim (Pippa) MacKay, Kate MacKay, Rachel Stoepker & Logan Stoepker, Ryan (Heather) Stoepker, Jennelle (Caleb) Symons, Shawn Stoepker, and great-grandchildren Cody & Heidi MacKay and, Hanna Symons. Emma is also survived by sister Gerdy (Clarence) Boer and brother Keimpe (Ytsje) Rauwerda and will be sadly missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws. The funeral service will be held at First United Church 7 Curtis Street, St. Thomas on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 11:00 am. Friends will be received by the family from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Interment in Elmdale Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570).
