ALEXANDER - Peter Preston of St. Thomas passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at the age of 63. Dear father of Amanda Alexander; brother of Janice Schmidt, Barry Alexander and Sharon Merkley; Uncle of Steven, Kevin and Mark Alexander, Mike Merkley, Colin and Michelle Schmidt and brother-in-law of Betty Alexander and David Merkley. Peter will also be missed by many friends and extended family. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Margaret Alexander. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London in the spring.
