JANSEN- It is with great sadness that the family of Peter Janssen announce his passing on Monday, January 25, 2021 at the age of 82. With his loved ones in his heart, he is reunited with his heavenly family. Peter is survived by his beloved wife Marjorie (nee Cox) of Port Stanley; by his loving children Laura (Petr) Macel of Arizona, Aliesha (John) Jeffery of London, and Michelle Merle of Port Stanley; by his grandchildren Mateo Macel, Allister Macel (Chelsea Birrell), Peter Jeffery (Trena LeBedz), and Cole (Lindsay) Jeffery; by his sister-in-law Marion Jeffery; and by his brother-in-law Leroy Pearson. Predeceased by his brothers Jack (Donna), and John; and by his sister Mary Pearson. Peter was born in Holland to the late John and Frances Janssen. Before his retirement, Peter worked as a Corrections Officer at the Elgin-Middlesex Detention Centre. After his retirement, Peter resumed his love of cooking and travelling. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570).
