Obituary of Arthur Schram

SCHRAM- Arthur William “Big Bullfrog” passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Monday, May 1, 2017 in his 79th year. Arthur is survived by his children Alice Schram-Smith of St. Thomas, John (Dawn) Schram of New Minus, NS, Les (Cathy) Schram of Ilderton, Donna Cook of Lyons, and Michael Schram (Lesley Mitchell) of Huron Park; by his grandchildren David (Christina) Ricketts and their children Arcadia and Ellysia of St Thomas, Adrian (Katie) Ricketts and their children Adrianna and Ian of St Thomas, Davis Schram and his son Tristan of Cold Lake Alberta, Nathan MacLellan of Valcartier Quebec, Michelle Schram of London and Jennifer Schram of Toronto; by his siblings Ilene Bancroft of Alymer, Margaret Oatman of Springfield, Betty Spriggs of St Thomas; by his sister-in-law Patricia Schram of Shedden; his brother-in-law Gord Dadson of Ripley; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter Judy Darlene; his brother Raymond Schram; his sister Shirley Dadson; and his brother-in-law Wilfred Bancroft. Arthur was born in St. Thomas, son of the late John and Viola Schram. He worked for Auto Haulaway. A memorial service will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 11:00 am. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment of ashes will be held on a later date. If desired, donations to STEGH would be appreciated.
