Obituary of Marilyn Josephine Gracey

GRACEY - Marilyn Josephine (nee Rooney) of St Thomas passed away peacefully at the St Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at the age of 84. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Robert Gracey (2019). Marilyn is survived by her son Chris Sykes (late Lynette) of St Thomas; grandchildren Zachary Sykes (Kallen McNamara) and Brennan Sykes; and mother Dora Bell. Predeceased by her father Joseph Rooney, siblings Barbara Dutton and Kathryn Kleinsorge. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. The prayer service will be held at the funeral home at 2:45 p.m. Interment of ashes at a later date.
