To Beverly's friends and family with sincerest condolences
I am so heartbroken. A bright and shining light in my life has gone out. But as I look up outside I can just make out her shimmering angel wings.
Bev, my other mother, has peacefully gone home, just as her faith taught her that she would. She was the shoulder I cried on, the finger that wagged at me, the woman I hugged far too many times for her liking. She was a moral compass but a do as I say, not always as I do. Her voice of compassion and logic will echo for years in my brain. She was a story teller, a believer, a warrior and a force. She was kind, generous and loved fiercely. And her dry, eye rolling and challenging sense of humour kept me on my toes.
Her spirit will live on in those of us who were lucky enough to be drawn into her circle of life.
Rest in the sweetest peace my beautiful friend. You loved and were loved well.
