Obituary of Joan Stickle

STICKLE - Joanne “Joan” Margaret (nee Cummings) of St. Thomas, passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 in her 75th year. Joan is survived by her beloved husband Bill; by her loving children Pamela (Austin) Sherwin, and Brian (Kim) Stickle; by her grandchildren Kyle Sherwin, Jake (Larah) Sherwin, Benjamin (Adia) Sherwin, and Kianna (Dayton) Armishaw; by her sisters Marie (Bill) Joice, Janet (Bob) Bedore, and Jean (late Alf) Snider; by her half-brother Wayne Shane; by her sister-in-law Sue (late Ken) Cummings; and her many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents Ken and Rose Cummings; by her brothers Barry (Shirley) Cummings, and Ken Cummings.  Cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 2:30 pm, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 9946 Talbotville Gore Road, RR#7 St. Thomas.  For those wishing to attend in-person, the family kindly requests that masks be worn.  For those who are unable to attend, a live stream link will be available on Joan’s tribute page on the funeral home website.  Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570).  If desired, donation to Pets/Friends for Life would be appreciated.  Personal condolence to the family can be sent to www.sjfh.ca
