Obituary of Violet Elsie May Brown

BROWN – Violet Elsie May (nee Russell) of St Thomas passed away peacefully on Friday, July 8, 2022 at the age of 92.  Beloved wife of the late George Brown.  Violet is survived by her children John Brown (Lorrie), Colin Brown (Shirley), Peter Brown, George Brown (Susan), Fred Brown (Yvette) and Penny Picard (Michael); 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  Violet will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family.  Cremation has taken place.  Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.  Interment of ashes will be held at a later date in Sudbury.  If desired, donations to the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated.  Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.sjfh.ca
