Obituary of David Sumner

SUMNER - David of St Thomas passed away peacefully at the St Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Friday, July 14, 2022 at the age of 82.  Beloved husband of Theresa Sumner (nee Lovasi) of St Thomas.  David is survived by his children Janet Sumner (Kelly Garland) of Toronto, Paul Sumner of Toronto and Martin Sumner (Karen) of London; Step Children Eva Robinson (Steve) of Springfield and Lisa Kunzler (Robert) of St Thomas; Siblings Peter Sumner and Gordon Sumner both of England.  David will be missed by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.  Predeceased by step son Michael Wagner (2022).  Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570).  Cremation has taken place.  Interment will be held at a later date.  If desired, donations to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.  Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.sjfh.ca
