Obituary of David James Wallis

WALLIS – David James of St Thomas passed away peacefully with family at his side at the St Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at the age of 73.  Beloved husband of Janet Wallis (nee Cosby).  Dave is survived by his children Nicola Koebel (Todd) and Sarah McGee (Terry) both of St Thomas; grandchildren Paige Koebel, Rylee McGee and Lily McGee; siblings Geoffery Wallis (Maureen) of Kincardine and Barbara Wells (Steve) of England; nieces and nephews Carolyn Dentinger (Doug) and their daughter Emily, Julie Wallis, Neil Wells and Roger Wells.  Dave is predeceased by his parents Dennis and Enid Wallis.  A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 1:00 – 4:00 at 39317 Fingal Line, St Thomas.  Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570).  Interment of ashes to be held at a later date.  If desired, donations to Autism Canada would be appreciated.  Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.sjfh.ca
