Obituary of Micheal Raymond Temple

TEMPLE - Micheal Raymond “Mike” of St. Thomas passed away peacefully, with his family by his side and by his side in spirit, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Monday, September 19, 2022 at the age of 73.  Mike is survived by his loving wife Deborah Temple (nee Udell); by his children Dianne (Robert) Myers of London, John (Shannon) Temple of St. Thomas, and Teresa Reed (Ivan Geraghty) of Lambeth; by his grandchildren Karlee and Casey Myers, Joshua, Nicholas and Tyden Temple, and Alexander Geraghty; by his siblings Betty (late Frank) Shaw, Dona (Zane) Walker, and Nancy Cooper; by his siblings-in-law Sheryl (Larry) Taylor, Kimberly (David) Weatherford, and John Udell; and by several nieces and nephews.  Mike was born in Petrolia, Ontario to the late Wilbert and Ruby Temple.  He was an international truck driver, enjoyed stock car racing, woodworking, loved his dogs, reading books, and was a member of the Elgin Flyers Model Aircraft Club.  Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm.  The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 1:00 pm.  Cremation to follow.  If desired, donations to the St. Thomas Elgin Food Bank would be appreciated.  Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.sjfh.ca
