Obituary of Wilma Pennings

Pennings- Wilma Yolanda (nee Haveman) of St. Thomas, Ontario passed away peacefully on September 20th at the age of 64.  Beloved wife of Herbert Pennings.  Wilma is survived by her children Valerie (Derek) Slingerland, Matthew (Julianna) Pennings, Justin (Jennifer) Pennings, Megan (Richard) Van Dyk, Lisa (Dave) Dekker, Philip Pennings, Bethany (Mark) Naves, Lauren (Tim) Kielstra, Luke Pennings, and Simon Pennings; by her grandchildren Ryan, Jack, Kaylie, Isabel, Keem, Aaralyn, Melody, Katrina, Levi, Emily, Jacob, Ethan, Abigail, Clara, Weston, Madilyn, Joshua, Hudson, Mikayla, Jodie, Curtis, Theo, and Ruby. By her siblings Liz (Steve) Doré, Rudy (Julie) Haveman, Henry (Chris) Haveman, Pam (John) Orchard, and Teresa; and by several nieces and nephews.  Wilma was a member of the Free Reformed Church of St. Thomas.  Visitation will be held Wednesday September 21, 2022 from 7:00-9:00 pm at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) and Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 12:00-1:00 pm at the Free Reformed Church of St. Thomas, 145 St. George Street. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm and followed by a luncheon.  Private family interment in McArthur Cemetery to follow.  If desired, donations to Fresh Start Support Services would be appreciated.  Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.sjfh.ca
