Very saddened to learn of Mel's passing and sincere condolences to Joan and family. I admired Mel's involvement in English Cockers and his contribution to the world of purebred dogs. So many wonderful conversations and memories over the years. I will treasure the memories and so very sad to hear of his passing. A life well lived with humor, kindness, knowledge and grace. Sincere condolences to Joan and family on the loss of Mel. Mel, together with Joan, bred a number of exquisite purebred dogs and was well known as a fair, knowledgeable and professional dog judge. Mel's contributions to the world of quality purebred dogs as a preservation breeder will not be forgotten. Thank you Mel.
