KARTYE - John Johann of Kingsville passed away peacefully on Friday December 16 2022 with his devoted son Kelly by his side.  John is predeceased by his wife Joy Lynne (nee Weedmark) 2009 and his daughter Julie Lefeber (2021) (Doug).  Survived by his sons John Kelly (Lisa) and Jeffrey Scott (Caroline).  Grandchildren Devon Lefeber (Hannah), Emily Lefeber, Mitchell Kartye, Kole Kartye, Dayne Kartye and Reese Kartye.  Great Grandchild Nora Joy; and loving supportive daughter in law Bobbi Jo.  Survived by brothers William Kartye (Pat) and Frank Kartye (Gloria).  Predeceased by parents Wilhelm and Angela Kartye (Kungel) and sister Elizabeth (1944).  John was employed by Heinz and in his spare time enjoyed family camping trips to Owen Sound and car shows.  Many thanks to all the love and support from extended family and friends.  Cremation has taken place.  Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin St. St Thomas (519 631 0507).  A Celebration of life will be held on January 8, 2023 at the Legion Br.188 Kingsville from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.  If desired donations to the T2B or the Humane Society would be appreciated.  Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.sjfh.ca
