Obituary of Daniel Mark Payson

PAYSON – Daniel Mark of Sparta passed away peacefully at the St Thomas-Elgin General Hospital with his family at his side on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the age of 63.  Beloved husband of Christine Payson (nee Butler).  Dan is survived by his children Rob Payson of London and Jerri Payson of Thunder Bay; Step children Brian Moore of Simcoe and Steven Moore (Cassandra) of Delhi; grandchildren Tanis, Douglas, Kira, Nevaeh, Ryan and Lincoln; sister Patricia (Tom) Kuharski of Nova Scotia; nieces Amanda Persaud (Andy) and their children Mya, Aliyah, Nikolas and Kate Kuharski (Richard Willcocks) and their daughter Octavia.  Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570).  Cremation has taken place.  Private interment of ashes to be held at a later date.  If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.  Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.sjfh.ca
