Obituary of Wilson Dennis

Obituary DENNIS- Wilson Clifford “Willy” of St. Thomas passed away at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, surrounded by his family, on Friday, August 9, 2019 in his 83rd year. Willy will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Ann Dennis (nee Drake); and by his children Greg (Debbie) Dennis, Jeff (Lorna) Dennis, and by Derek (Suzie) Dennis all of St. Thomas. Much loved “Papa” of Braelyn and Kailey, and “Grandpa” of Luka and Niko. Dear brother of Gloria (Tom) Hanley and Gail Schneider all of St. Thomas. Predeceased by his sister Lenora (Wayne) Drewitt and by his brother Bob Dennis. Willy was born in Aberdeen, Saskatchewan to the late James and Betty Dennis. He worked as an automotive machinist, owning and operating Willy’s Automotive Machine Shop for 10 years before returning to Carquest. Willy also enjoyed spending time working on model trains and classic cars. Visitation will be held at Eastwood Baptist Church 400 Wellington Street, St. Thomas on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 am with Pastor Tim Beerman officiating.
