Obituary of Madeline Moir

MOIR- Madeline (nee Crosthwaite) passed away, peacefully with her family by her side, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at the age of 95. Madeline is survived by her son Kevin (Dorothy) Moir of Georgia; her granddaughters Katie (Eric) Downey and their children Ava and Braylon, and Anna Moir all of Michigan; her niece Madeline Trudell of St. Thomas; and her nephew Greg (Debbi) Machan of St. Thomas. Predeceased by her sister Kay Machan. Madeline was retired from First Federal Bank in Michigan and was a member of First United Church in St. Thomas. A memorial service to celebrate Madeline’s life will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service. Interment of ashes in Elmdale Memorial Park Cemetery. Donations to All Breed Canine Rescue would be gratefully acknowledged.
