Obituary of Jane Schneider

SCHNEIDER - Jane Euphemia (nee Ross) of St. Thomas passed away peacefully at the St. Joseph’s Hospice in London, with her family by her side, on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at the age of 69. Beloved wife of Reinhard Schneider. Jane is survived by her loving children Jennifer Schneider (Gord Carr) of St. Thomas and Andrew Schneider (Carolyn Fredin) of London. She will be fondly remembered by her brother Stanley (late Cassie) Ross of Newbury, her sister-in-law Shirley (late Donald) Ross of Wallaceburg, by her brother-in-law Witold “Vic” (Nancy) Schneider of Rodney, and by her many nieces and nephews. Jane was involved with Girl Guides in her younger years and enjoyed sewing and gardening. Cremation has taken place. A private interment of ashes will be held in South Park Cemetery, St. Thomas. Friends and family will be received at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. If desired, donations to the St. Joseph’s Hospice of London, the VON Elgin-Middlesex, or the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
