Obituary TOLMAN, Doris Emma - Went to be with her Lord and Saviour from the Elgin Manor on Friday, August 2, 2019 at the age of 93. Born again March 1951. Loving wife of late Lloyd (June 2015). Mother of Jeff (Marilyn) Tolman, Nancy (late Nelson) Butler, John (Nancy) Tolman and Elisabeth John, all of St. Thomas. Proud grandmother of Jennifer Tolman of Halifax, NS, Dan (Lana) Tolman of Charlottetown, PE, Ben (Kellie) Butler of Boxall, late Lois Butler (September 2017), Joe Butler (Michelle) of Fingal, Sarah (Brian) Holmes of St. Thomas, Christopher (Jaclyn) Tolman of St. Thomas, Stefanie (Brian) Cox of Halifax, NS, Andrew John of St. Thomas and Michael John of St. Thomas. Also missed by several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Born in St. Thomas, ON, on August 23, 1925, Doris met Lloyd after he came from Alberta to Ontario with the RCAF during the war. They were married in April 1944 and enjoyed more than 71 years together. Friends will be received at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin St., St. Thomas, (519-631-0570) on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at the St. Thomas Gospel Hall, 1 Sunset Drive on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 12:00 noon, with visitation one hour prior at 11:00 AM. Interment in the Hunter Cemetery, Lake Road, Southwold. If desired, memorial contributions to Gospel Trust Canada or VON Elgin-St. Thomas would be appreciated.
