Marie, who would have known as we discussed our children as we were working in the case room and nursery, that years later God had woven the paths of our boys to lead Shawn to be able to serve you in this
manner! There is no stress now, you are in good hands. SueJ

I also met Marie as she was my nurse in 1983 during my Labour/delivery. She was amazing, such a caring nurse. I was having difficult times and I remember her hanging on to my hand and calmly talking to me, always, always thought of her after that. Rest in peace Marie!

I first met Marie in July of 1981 when she was my nurse in labour/delivery. I will never forget the kindness and compassion she showed me following the passing of our newborn daughter due to unforeseen complications in labour. Many years later I had the privilege of volunteering for MADD with Marie and her kindness, compassion and dedication to all victims of impaired driving was evidenced daily and she truly was the driving force behind our St. Thomas chapter. She always spoke so lovingly of her family and her grandchildren meant the world to her. Marie will be dearly missed.

I worked with Mrs Kean on the Womens and Childrens floor at the STEGH for numerous years. She was referred to as Mother for sure. She was dedicated , a great teacher and made sure her knowledge was taught to all us newbies.( I have now been here 30 plus years.) Marie was passionate about her babies. Mrs Kean will be missed. RIP. Condolences to the family. Kelly Wilson

Niki, Ryan, Amy & family....Although I knew Marie for many years it was during our time together with MADD that I really got to know her. Her dedication, commitment & compassion for victims & their families was exceptional. She worked tirelessly to support victims of impaired driving and her work ethic inspired others to work as hard. It was also during this time that she shared her deep love for her family and I know she went above & beyond to provide for their needs. Marie truly was a kind, gentle soul who brought out the best in those around her. R.I.P. Marie.

I worked with Marie ( often called Mother by the nurses at stegh). She was a wonderful mentor, teacher, and advisor for me. She went above and beyond the call of duty for her patients and her colleagues. She treated me and my children with exceptional kindness. And I will remember her fondly. Sending my sincere condolences to her family, I will be keeping you in my thoughts

To Niki and Ryan and family,
Our sincere condolences to you. Have lots of memories with your Mom. Like when she worked at the Dairy Queen, I bought and used her High School text books and took a trip to Albany and then New York City with her and to Florida with her and Jeff and Fred.
We also used to celebrate birthdays at Springbank park especially with Jeff, Niki and Tonya.
our love and prayers for you at this time,
George and Elaine Harron
