Lisa Pinnock

Obituary of Lisa Ann Pinnock

It is with great sadness that the family of Lisa Pinnock (nee Biggar) announce her sudden passing at home, on Monday, July 31, 2023 at the age of 56.  Lisa will be profoundly missed by her husband Shaun; her daughter Candice (Cory Maisonville) and her son Jason.  Loved sister of Peter Biggar † and his daughter Jessica, Mark (Deanne), Clive, Craig (June), and Brett.  She will also be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  Lisa was born in Durban, South Africa to the late Peter and Elizabeth Biggar.  In her spare time, Lisa enjoyed fostering animals for the Jack Russell Network of Canada, created the Facebook group St. Thomas-Pets Lost & Found/Rescue, loved spending time working in her garden and giving her rescue animals an environment where they could thrive.  She loved to spend time at the beach collecting sea glass, creating arts and crafts, and was a passionate shopper.  Cremation has taken place.  A memorial service to celebrate Lisa’s life will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service.  If desired, donations to the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society would be appreciated.  Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.sjfh.ca
