Obituary of Thomas George Collin

COLLIN – Thomas George of St Thomas passed away peacefully at the St Thomas-Elgin General Hospital with family at his side on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at the age of 81.  Beloved husband of the late Norma Jean Collin (2023) (nee. Long).  Thomas is survived by children Cindy Bird, Michael Tanny, Darlene (John) Palmer, Robert Tanny and Thomas (Melanie) Collin; grandchildren Ryan, Sean, Alicia, Chad, Sabrina, Chad, Collin, James, Jordan, Johnathon, Allison, Eric, Dori and Jack.  Thomas will be missed by brother Gary Law and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.  Predeceased by son James Tanny; siblings Jack and Gail.  Thomas was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 41 in St Thomas.  Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570).  Cremation has taken place.  A private family interment of ashes will be held at a later date.  If desired, donations to Royal Canadian Legion Branch 41 would be appreciated.  Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.sjfh.ca
