Obituary of Norma Jean Collin

COLLIN – Norma Jean (nee. Long) of St Thomas passed away peacefully at Caressant Care Mary Bucke with family at her side on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at the age of 85.  Beloved wife of the late Thomas Collin (2023).  Norma is survived by children Cindy Bird, Michael Tanny, Darlene (John) Palmer, Robert Tanny and Thomas (Melanie) Collin; grandchildren Ryan, Sean, Alicia, Chad, Sabrina, Chad, Collin, James, Jordan, Johnathon, Allison, Eric, Dori and Jack.  Norma will be missed by siblings Shirley, Mary-Lou and Howard and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.  Predeceased by son James Tanny.  Norma was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 41 in St Thomas.  Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570).  Cremation has taken place.  A private family interment of ashes will be held at a later date.  If desired, donations to Royal Canadian Legion Branch 41 would be appreciated.  Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.sjfh.ca
