ASHTON – Kenneth Mervin of St Thomas passed away peacefully at the St Thomas-Elgin General Hospital with family at his side on Monday, October 30, 2023 at the age of 83. Ken is survived by his son Greg Ashton. Missed by siblings Marilyn O'Brien (Austin), Gary Ashton (Vivian) and Wayne Ashton (Jo-Ann). Predeceased by parents Mabel (nee. Pettit) and Mervin Ashton, brother Bryan Ashton and infant sister Darlene. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). Cremation has taken place. Interment in Orwell Cemetery at a later date. If desired, donations to Lung Cancer Canada would be appreciated.
