Obituary of Maxwell William Nutbrown

NUTBROWN - Maxwell William.  It is with shattered hearts that Dale, Lisa, and Griffin Nutbrown announce the unexpected passing of their cherished son and brother Max who died peacefully in his sleep a week after his 29th birthday.  Max was much adored by an incredible group of friends who will miss his bear hugs, sage advice, and quirky sense of humour.  He was always the first person to wish happy birthday to and congratulate his buddies as they celebrated life’s achievements, and he was welcoming to everyone who joined their shenanigans.  An enthusiastic learner of everything Japanese, Max was in the process of learning how to speak the language and write in Kanji and intended to visit Japan one day.  A highly intelligent and well-spoken man, he had many hobbies that provided him with the opportunity to make friends all over the globe who will miss him dearly.  Max had a smile as bright as the sun and a contagious laugh that we were always delighted to hear.  He was a kind, loving person to all that knew him.  He loved animals, music, photography, VR, and anything technical or unusual.  Max will be missed by his cousins, aunts and uncles, and grandparents, and his godson Oliver Kaplanis.  Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St Thomas (519-631-0570).  Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life will be determined at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to an animal shelter or wildlife rescue, or to the Canadian Addison Society.
