I started the same day, November 9,1981, as George, except i started in Maintenance. I started driving in 1983. Worked many years and chatted many times. You will be missed by all that knew and loved you my friend. Rest easy and God speed.

I worked alongside George at Brampton Transit since 1998, He was always smiling and Joking, never a bad word and such a true gentleman at least in my presence. He would help me when I had any questions regarding any of the routes I was driving at the time, George was well liked and will be missed. There is another angel up there now. Condolences to all of his family. Gone but never forgotten. Sleep now George, you are in pain no longer ma friend.

I remember when l first met George in 2007, we talked a few times during his lunch and while l was starting my am-spilt work, l took over his route 15.
He did me a huge favour letting me switch my holiday week so l could go on a family cruise during the thanksgiving week.
We also worked together when he and l had modified duties.
He has some great stories and loved talking about his trailer and fishing.
Another great guy gone way too soon.
RIP George you’re going to be missed.
