Obituary of Donna Jean Anderson

ANDERSON – Donna Jean (nee Stewart) of St. Thomas passed away peacefully at Valleyview Home in St. Thomas on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the age of 91.  Beloved wife of the late Robert Stanley “Bob” Anderson (2018).  Donna is survived by her children Victoria Wilkins (Daniel) of Port Rowan and Robert Anderson (Cynthia) of Port Rowan.  Loving grandmother of Scott Wilkins (Angela), Mike Wilkins, Jeff Wilkins, Mark Wilkins and Andrew Anderson.  Great grandmother to Jacob, Madison and Emily Wilkins; sister-in-law to Vanita Stewart; and aunt to Michelle Beauchamp.  Predeceased by her parents Victor and Muriel Stewart; by her brother Roger Stewart; and by her nephew Jeff Stewart and niece Lisa Stewart.  Donna retired from Johnson-Mallory (DuraCap) in Woodstock.  She enjoyed volunteering her time with the women’s group at Redeemer Lutheran Church, the St. Thomas Public Library, Valleyview Home Tuck Shop, and the MS Society.  Donna had a competitive spirit and enjoyed many years in the 5-pin bowling league at Park ‘N Bowl, as well as travelling and spending time with her family and friends. 

The funeral service will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 11:00 am.  Visitation one hour prior to the service.  Interment in Elmdale Memorial Park Cemetery.  If desired, donations to Lutheran Church-Canada would be appreciated.  Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.sjfh.ca
