Obituary of Ruth Ranger

RANGER - Ruth Ann Catherine (nee Fitzpatrick) of St. Thomas passed away peacefully with the love of her family at St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, June 21st, 2016 at the age of 71. Ruth was the cherished wife of Ron Ranger for over 51 years. Loving mother of Michael Ranger and Kim Ranger (Dave Bohlmann). Proud grandmother to Khris Ranger, Jay Ranger, Emily Gilchrist (Lui Giuliani), and David Gilchrist (Dominique Axford). Beloved Great grandmother to Kinnley and Aubrey. Ruth will also be missed by siblings Vernon Fitzpatrick (Sandy), Brian Fitzpatrick, and Mary Ellen Fitzpatrick (David MacKay). Ruth’s happiest times were spent with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and with her three dogs Sprague, Nana and Blackie. Cremation has already taken place. All services are private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). Interment of ashes at a later date. Those wishing to donate in memory of Ruth are asked to consider Animalert or the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Foundation. Cremation A private interment of ashes will be held on a later date.
