Obituary of Robert Glover

GLOVER - Robert James of Iona Station passed away peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, June 14th, 2016 at the age of 78. Cherished father of Kim Carter (Scott) of Dutton, Timothy Glover of Lambton and Christopher Glover (Michelle) of Whitby. Loving grandfather of Cody, Zoe and Hayden. Robert is survived by siblings Clifford Glover (Shirley), Norman Glover (late Florence), Bruce Glover (Donna), Vera McKillop (Dan), and Jean Grieg (late Stanley); sister-in-law Sylvia Glover. Predeceased by brother Gordon Glover and sister Marion Rice. Friends are invited for visitation on Friday, June 17th, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). A memorial service will be held in the chapel Saturday morning at 11 a.m. Interment of ashes at a later date. Those wishing to donate in memory of Robert are asked to consider the Parkinson Society.
