Obituary of Maxine Berdan
BERDAN- Irma “Maxine” (nee Marr) of Shedden, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016 at the age of 88. Maxine is survived by her husband John; her children Linda (Wayne) Kilmer of Aylmer, Barry of St. Thomas, and Paul of St. Thomas; by her grandchildren Suzanne (Matthew) Scott of Beamsville, Darren Kilmer of St. Thomas, Tanya Vernackt of Thamesville, and Jerrod (Heidi) Berdan of St. Thomas; her six great granddaughters; her brother Bruce (Charlotte) Marr of Ottawa; sister Beulah (late Gary) Galivan of Kitchener; sister-in-law Diane (late Tom) Marr of Midland; and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by five other brothers and sisters. Maxine was born in Shedden, the daughter of the late Glover and Dorothy Marr. She was a member of the Frome U.C.W. Cremation has taken place and a private gathering to celebrate Maxine’s life will be held on a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). If desired, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Elgin - St. Thomas would be appreciated. Cremation
