Obituary of Morley Binks

BINKS - Morley Everett Binks passed away at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Monday, March 7, 2016 in his 88th year. Survived by his loving wife Pauline (nee McCallum); his children Regena (Bill) Zinkan of Talbotville, Janice (Orville) King of St. Thomas, and Sylvia (Todd) Partlo of St. Thomas; his grandchildren Tracey (Wade) Myers of Belle River, Chris (Sandra) Campbell of Collingwood, Brad (Kate) Sheeller of Brampton, Cory (Lenka) Sheeller of Kincardine, and Trevor Partlo of St. Thomas; his great grandchildren Sydney, Dalton and Jordan, Emora and Gwen, Kayleigh, Cody, and Jaylynn; and his sisters Dorothy Roberts (the late Chuck) and Theresa Bobier (the late Carl). Predeceased by his parents George and Flossie Binks, and his siblings Hugh (Verna) Binks, Eleanor Lymburner, Dalton (Esther) Binks, Freda (Walter) O’Neil, Hazel (Harold) Schnekenburger, Carmen (Jessie) Binks, Lloyd (Marybell) Binks, Ruth (Howard) Schnekenburger, Madeline (Victor) Swain, and James (Gladys) Binks. Morley had farmed for many years before opening Binks Jewellery and Giftware in Dutton. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 11:30am - 12:30pm, where the memorial service will take place in the chapel at 12:30pm. Interment in Union United Church Cemetery. If desired, donations to the STEGH Foundation would be appreciated.
