Obituary of Martha Jean Jackson

JACKSON - Martha Jean (nee Davidson) of Aylmer, Ontario passed away peacefully on February 10, 2016 at the age of 83. Beloved mother of Hazel Jackson of Toronto, and Linda (James) Wood of Richmond Hill. Adored grandmother of Lisa (Chris) Hawes of St. Thomas, Erica Tolazzi and Jennifer (Wyatt) Brocklebank all of Newmarket; great grandmother of Emma Hawes, Dylan Hawes, and Adam Tolazzi; sister of John (Judy) Davidson of New Zealand; and loving aunt of Michelle, Andria, Kathleen, and Chaye. Martha had retired from Honeywell after nearly 40 years of dedicated service. In her spare time enjoyed she enjoyed shopping, knitting, and eating chocolate! In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Sunday, February 14, 2016 from 1:30 - 2:30pm. A Celebration of Life will take place in the chapel at 2:30pm. Interment of ashes at Douglas Extension Cemetery in Scotland. If desired, donations to the Chartwell Aylmer - Ladies Auxiliary would be appreciated.
