Obituary of John Vermeiren

VERMEIREN - John Vermeiren of St. Thomas passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the age of 60. Beloved husband of Mary Shackelton. Survived by his step-children Terry, Barbara, Laura (Koree). Loving Opa to Brett and Megan. John will be missed by his niece Crystal (Willy); his K9 buddy Gibson; his mother Mary (late Henry) Vermeiren and his family members in Watford, Dorchester and Strathroy. John was an avid fisherman and woodworker and loved gardening. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570).
