Obituary of Harold Clark

CLARK- Harold “Hoss” Clark passed away, surrounded by his family at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of the late Freda Viola (nee French) Clark (2003) for 42 years. Dear father of Cindy Clark-Kernohan (Mark) of London, Calvin Clark of St. Thomas, Christina Clark-Reaume (Brian) of Chatham. Proud Grandpa of Aaron, Amy, Brody, Evan, Max. Regarded by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Caradoc township, ON, March 22, 1935, he was the son of the late Nathaniel Clark (1967) and the late Cecile (Brownlee) Clark (1967) little brother to the late Gerald Clark (1998) (Eva) and Marilyn Lunn (nee Clark) (Jim) (2012). Harold began working for the C & O Railroad in 1965 and during that time was a Volunteer Firefighter with the Southwold Township Fire Department. He enjoyed going to garage sales to find unique collectables, working with small engines or anything mechanical, dancing, animals, camping, and first and foremost spending time with his family. Harold was a member of the Warren Lodge No. 120 A.F. & A.M Fingal. Friends will be received by the family at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Thursday May 28, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Masonic Service under auspice Warren Lodge No. 120 A.F. & A.M. will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 6:30 pm. The funeral will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 1:30 pm. Interment in Fingal Cemetery. If desired, donations to Kidney Cancer Research would be appreciated. Visitation Thursday, May 28, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 pm. A Masonic Service will be held at 6:30 pm. Shawn Jackson Funeral Home Funeral Friday, May 29, 2015 at 1:30 pm.
