Obituary of Annie Lysiuk

LYSIUK- Annie Lysiuk (nee Hawryskevich) passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at Extendicare in Port Stanley on Monday, May 11, 2015 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Fred Lysiuk (2011). She is survived by her children Larry (JoEllen) Lysiuk of Delhi, Lorene (Terry) Heisler of St. Thomas, Lynn (Debra) Lysiuk of St. Thomas; her grandchildren Lance (Laura) Lysiuk of Connecticut, Lee (Alicia) Lysiuk of Indianapolis, Lisa (Rob) Deininger of Orlando, Adele (Adam) Boyn of Oklahoma; and eight great grandchildren. Annie was born in Lipozits, Ukraine on July 24, 1924, daughter of the late Fred and Nettie Hawryskevich. Annie and her husband Fred farmed for many years in the Port Dover area; she was also a long time member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in St. Thomas. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 3:00 - 7:00 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 3:00 pm.
