Obituary of Janet Childs

CHILDS- Janet Childs passed away at the St. Thomas -Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the age of 60. Janet is survived by her husband Jeff of St. Thomas; her children Erin McCraney of Calgary, Alberta, Scott (Amber) McCraney and their children Landen and Briar of Listowel, Shawn Emerson of Owen Sound, and Tara Childs of Owen Sound; her sister Laurie (Charlie) Mungar of St. Thomas; and by her brother Peter Dunlop of Lyons. Predeceased by her parents Alfred and Barbara Dunlop. Janet worked as a nurse at Elgin Manor. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London on a later date.
