Obituary of Michael John Parsons

Obituary PARSONS- Michael John of St. Thomas passed away at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the age of 45. Beloved son of Walter and Connie Parsons; dear brother of Darby Parsons all of St. Thomas; and will be missed by his many aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by his grandparents Murray and Gladys Brown, and Ernest and Vera Parsons. Michael graduated from the Motive Power Technician (Automotive) program at Fanshawe College. He worked for VanPelt’s Stationery and most recently as a driver at Simply Pure Water. Michael was a devoted player in the St. Thomas Men’s and Masters Basketball Leagues; an avid Detroit Red Wings fan; and always enjoyed reading a good book. Visitation will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church 60 West Ave., St. Thomas on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, where the memorial service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
