Obituary of Marie Gisele Francoise Therrien

THERRIEN - Marie Gisèle Francoise (nee Thibeault) of St. Thomas passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Emile Therrien. Adored mother of Jean-Guy Therrien, Daniel (Bonnie) Therrien, Michel Therrien, Angèle (Richard) Luce, Sylvie MacIntyre, Denis (Joanne) Therrien. Proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Also missed by siblings Bernadette (René) Grenier, Anne Marie (Sylvio) Thibeault, Gaston (Marcelle) Thibault, Irené (Marie Laure) Thibeault; and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by many brothers and sisters. Gisèle enjoyed organizing bus trips and volunteering at La Place Concorde in Windsor, and swimming at the YMCA in St. Thomas. She was also a member of Holy Angels Parish. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00pm, with parish prayers at 4:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Angels Parish 502 Talbot Street, St Thomas on Thursday at 10:00am. Cremation to follow. If desired, donations to the London Regional Cancer Program would be appreciated. Visitation Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Parish Prayers at 4:00 pm.
