Obituary of Glen Walters

WALTERS - Glen Allan of St. Thomas passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of the late Veronica Walters (2013). Adored by his children Wade (Carla) Walters of Toronto, Kyle (Rena) Walters of Winnipeg; grandchildren Emma Walters, Lawson Walters, Taylor Walters; his sister Shirley (Norm) Belliveau of London; siblings-in-law Derek (Suzanne) Lawson of Hamilton, Jenefer LaForet of London, Sue Walters of St. Thomas, Bill Prevost of London; and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Stella Walters, his brother Don Walters (2006), and his sister in law Lesley Prevost. Glen was a member of Historic Automobile Club of Canada. He will be missed so very much. Family and friends will be received at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Monday, July 28, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:30pm. The funeral service will take place at the Salvation Army Citadel 380 Elm Street, St. Thomas on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow. Interment in Elmdale Cemetery at a later date. If desired, donations to the Salvation Army Citadel or Lung Association would be appreciated. Visitation Monday, July 28, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:30 pm. Shawn Jackson Funeral Home Funeral Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 11:00 am. Salvation Army Citadel Cremation Mount Pleasant Cemetery Interment Interment of ashes will take place on a later date.
