Obituary of Barbara Walker

WALKER- Barbara Walker passed away at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the age of 69. Barb is survived by her husband Keith; her children Wayne (Lisa) Walker of St. Thomas, Kelley (John) Velema and their son Arjen of Denfield; her brothers Fred (Marg) Lammiman of Okotoks, Alberta, Tom (Marion) Lammiman of St. Thomas, Doug (Linda) Lammiman of St. Thomas; sister Carolyn (Tom) Hardie of Chatham; sister-in-law Marilyn Walker of St. Thomas; brother-in-law Doug (Valerie) Walker of St. Thomas; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Clarence and Vera Lammiman; sisters-in-law Georgina (Bob) Burrows, Betty (Rudy) MacKneson; and by her brother-in-law Bill Walker. Barb was a former employee at K-Mart and Foodland. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. The funeral will take place in the chapel on Wednesday at 1:30 pm. Interment in Union Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Kidney Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
