Very sorry to hear about George's sudden passing. I have many fond memories of George. He drafted me onto Shaw's Ice Cream City League Basketball Team in 1979, and that year we won the title. George was a great coach and mentor to many. He was an all around nice guy. He never had a harsh word to say about anyone. Great sense of humor and demeanor. George will be missed.
