Obituary of Carolyn E. Proctor

PROCTOR - Carolyn Eileen (nee Buck) of St. Thomas passed away peacefully at St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the age of 45. Beloved wife of Barry Proctor. Loving mother of Chelsey Proctor and Crystal Proctor, both of St. Thomas. Cherished daughter of Edna Buck (Cecil Comrie) of St. Thomas. Dear sister of Jane (Bill) Voakes of Orwell, Jim Buck of London, and Karen Buck of St. Thomas. Sadly missed by her father-in-law Don Proctor of St. Thomas and her mother-in-law Donna Proctor of St. Thomas, her brother-in-law Steve Proctor of St. Thomas, and by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her brother Steve Buck (1999)and her father George Buck (1997). Carolyn was a Personal Support Worker at Elgin Manor. In her spare time enjoyed reading and spending time with her dogs Scamp and Chewy. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm, where the memorial service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 1:30 pm. Cremation has taken place. Interment of ashes will be held on a later date. If desired, donations to London Regional Cancer Program or the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.
