Obituary of Florence Agnes Glover

GLOVER - Florence Agnes (nee Neff) of St. Thomas passed away peacefully on October 9, 2013 at the age of 74. Beloved wife of Norm Glover. Florence is survived by her daughters Christina Glover of St. Thomas and Sharon Taylor of Caledonia; her granddaughter Meghan Taylor of London and soon to arrive great granddaughter. Also survived by her brothers-in-law Calvin (Kathy) Evans of Ingersoll, Clifford (Shirley) Glover and Gord (Sylvia) Glover all of Hamilton, Bruce (Donna) Glover of St. Thomas, Robert Glover of Iona Station; sisters-in-law Jean Greig, and Vera (Dan) McKillop all of St. Thomas. Predeceased by her son Richard Glover, her sisters Margaret Evans and Barbara Tignor, and her sister-in-law Marion Barnes. Florence worked in the kitchen at Alma College, and in her spare time enjoyed spoiling her family and friends with her wonderful cooking and baking. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 12:00 to 2:00pm, with the funeral service being held in the chapel at 2:00pm. Cremation to follow. If desired, donations to Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
