Obituary of Janice Ruth Ryckman

Obituary RYCKMAN- Janice Ruth (nee Reeves) passed away at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, surrounded by her family, on Monday, April 22, 2019 at the age of 80. Janice is survived by her son Darren Ryckman (Jennifer Harris) of Leamington; by her daughter Dana Ryckman of Ruthven; by her grandchildren Curtis (Darci), Kaitlyn, Joe (Chrystal), Jessica (Darrin); by her great grandchildren Aleah, Lucas, Tyler, and Trevor; and by several other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband John (Benny) Ryckman (1972); and by her siblings Jack Reeves, Shirley Hoshal, Victor Reeves and William Reeves. Janice was born in St. Thomas to the late Victor and Marjorie Reeves. She worked in women’s retail for many years. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Cremation to follow. A private interment of ashes will take place in Elmdale Memorial Park Cemetery on a later date. If desired, donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
