Obituary of Sally Perry

Obituary PERRY- Sarah “Sally” (nee Paddock) of St. Thomas, passed away at Parkwood Hospital, surrounded by her family on Monday, May 21, 2018 in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late John William Perry (2011). Sally is survived by her children David Perry of Ottawa, Sandra (James) Nethercott of Dorchester, Susan (Joe) Valdron of Oshawa, and Robert Perry (Alisa Hanrahan) of Ottawa; by her grandchildren Evan and Aaron Perry, Michael and Victoria Valdron, Esmé and Nora Perry; by her sisters, Betty Smith (late Graham), Dorothy Clarke (late Brian), Jean (Bill) Carless, Margaret (Keith) Evans, and Maudie Paddock (Edie); by her sisters-in-law Jean Elmore (late Albert) and Sheila Paddock; by her brother-in-law Tony Wood; and by her many other nieces and nephews in England and Australia. Predeceased by her sisters Edna Baker and Iris Wood, and by her brothers Arnold and Norman Paddock. Sally was born in Blakenall, England to the late William and Sarah Paddock. She emigrated from England to Canada in 1976 with her family. Sally worked at Shopper’s Drug Mart at Elgin Mall and Edward Street, St. Thomas for 25 years and will be missed by all who knew her. A longtime resident of Elmwood Avenue, St. Thomas Sally will be remembered by her caring and helpful neighbours. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). A private interment of ashes will be held on a later date.
