Obituary of George Arthur Hale

HALE - At Windsor Regional Hospital on Thursday, April 25, 2013, George Arthur Hale of Tecumseh, formerly of St. Thomas, passed away in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Jean Boxall. Loved father of Garry (Pat) Hale of McGregor, Brian (June) Hale of Windsor, father-in-law of Connie Hale-Duncan (Rick) of Tecumseh. Dear grandfather of Scott (Tara) Hale of Windsor, Sandi-Lynn (Drew) Whittaker of McGregor, Christopher Hale of Windsor, Dean (Krysten) Hale of Hamilton, Joel (Sarah) Hale of Tecumseh, and 5 great grandchildren. Also survived by brother-in-law Paul Boxall of Hamilton, and sister-in-law Winnie Boxall of Windsor. Predeceased by son Tom Hale and brother Jack (Marjorie) Hale. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Sunrise Senior Living and Brouillette Manor in Tecumseh for their kindness and compassion. Friends will be received at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00am. Interment in Aylmer Cemetery.
