Obituary of Charlene Ann Zimmerman
Charlene Ann Zimmerman
December 20, 1970 - March 19, 2013
It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of Charlene on March 19, 2013 in St. Thomas, Ontario after a long and valiant struggle with sarcoma. She was the daughter of Susan Neily of Kingston and Don (Joyce) of Goderich. Her children, Jane, Katey and Ron Jr. were the love of her life. Charlene is survived by siblings, Derrick, Sara and twin sister Karen, who was her best friend and soul mate. Also cherished are Zachary, Emryss and Jacob. Charlene was born in North Bay where she attended West Ferris Secondary School and Canadore College. She had many interests. In her youth, she excelled at Ringette and in the summer liked to play baseball. Charlene’s vacations at Rabbit Lake were very special. She loved to fish, especially when the pickerel were biting. As per Charlene’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Fellowship Christian Reform Church, 641 Elm Street, St. Thomas at 1:00pm on Thursday March 21, 2013. The family would like to thank those who cared for Charlene, both spiritually and physically. A special thank you to Pastor Dan Tighelaar, Corrie Hulst, Devon Church, Amy Dowler and Char’s devoted Sister Karen. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to Wellspring, London, Ontario. We will miss this brave mother, sister and daughter. Memorial Service
