Obituary of Sydney Cusick

Obituary CUSICK - Sydney of St. Thomas and formerly of Vineland passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at Elgin Manor on Wednesday, April, 3 2019 at the age of 95. Sydney has survived by his loving wife Betsy Cusick (nee Wainwright); by his son Peter (Ruth) Cusick of St. Thomas; by his grandchildren Matthew (Laureen) Cusick of London, and Luke Cusick of St. Thomas; and by his great grandchildren Rosie, Margaret, and Georgia. Sydney was born in Hull, England on January 10, 1924 to the late John and Katherine Cusick; he is also predeceased by his son John Cusick (1973). He served in the British Navy as a Telegraphist and later retired as an Electrician from General Motors. He was a member of Gideons International-Canada and a lifelong member of the Pentecostal Church in Hull, Vineland, and St. Thomas. Visitation will be held at St. Thomas Pentecostal Assembly 144 Wellington Street, St. Thomas on Monday, April 8, 2019 from 4:00-6:00 pm, where the funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm. Interment will take place in Vineland Cemetery on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 1:30 pm, followed by a reception at the Tallman Funeral Home 3277 King Street, Vineland.
